Hierapolis built in 2 BC and due to many earthquakes it has rebuilt several times through its history. The city has built by great King of Pergamon and it was powerfull through Helenistic and Roman Era. Hierapolis was a center for Christianity because of the tomb and MArtryium of St. Philip. It is also one of the seven churches addressed in The Book of Revelations. In Hierapolis antique city, there’s a lot history to see and appreciate. Amphitheater, Necropolis and The Martyrium of Apostle Philip are some the highlights of Hierapolis.

Itinerary of Pamukkale Tour
- 08:30 We will pick you up from your hotel in Bodrum or Marina of Bodrum in the morning and transfer you to Pamukkale/ Denizli City where your tour guide will meet you. (Transfer duration is about 3 hours)
- You’ll start with lunch in a local restaurant.
- After lunch you will start visiting Hierapolis ancient city and you will find a chance to take photos of the best spots of Hierapolis while walking through the ruins such as Necropolis, Roman Baths, Domitian Gate, Latrina, Oil Factory, Frontinus Street, Agora, Byzantium Gate, Triton Fountain, Cathedral, Apollon Temple, Plutonium, Theater and Antique Pool etc.
- Second place is to enjoy your free time with thermal spa water of Travertine Terraces of Cotton Castle in bare feet.
- 16:00 end of the tour and you will be transferred back to your hotel in Bodrum.
- 18:30 – 19:00 arrival to Bodrum.
